Raphael Kempf is a Senior BI-Consultant with over 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Planning, Analytics, and AI. His core expertise lies in implementing KPIs and reporting in line with the ROKS® and IBCS® standards. Through fast prototyping and coaching, he quickly delivers precise strategies, analyses, reports, and dashboards – supporting organizations from BI strategy and architecture to KPI definition and successful implementation.

As a Black Belt in KPI design according to ROKS® and an expert in SAP and Microsoft analytics solutions, he has successfully established the IBCS® standard in organizations ranging from 300 to 30 000 employees. He is technologically proficient in the SAP Business Data Cloud with SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere, SAP BusinessObjects, and Microsoft Power BI.

This work sample explains how to get an IBCS® visualization out of a simple graphic based on a business example.

This example shows a forecast-visualization of an enterprise with several locations. In the former report the values were listed in an excel-table. Now an overview with “small multiples” simplifies the comparison of the different shops. The visualizations were implemented in a fully automated dashboard.
