+1  REGISTRATION FOR IBCS® ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON JUNE 2 IN BARCELONA

The conference of the IBCS® community on June 2 in Barcelona is taking shape: We meet at Col-legi d’Economistes de Catalunyia, which is supporting the event as does ACCID, the association of Catalan accounting professionals. Find the continuously updated program here. You can register here.

+2  IBCS® VERSION 1.1 ANTE PORTAS

All comments of the IBCS® community on version 1.0 of the Standards are currently being evaluated. The generally accepted suggestions are incorporated into a draft of version 1.1 which will be sent to all active members of the IBCS Association for review by early April. On June 1 in Barcelona, the Genal Assembly will decide on the final release of version 1.1.

+3  INTERNATIONAL LECTURES IN THE FIRST HALF-YEAR

Andrej Lapajne (Zebra BI) gives a lecture at the ICV Congress in Warsaw, Kristof Gramm (IT-Logix) speaks at SAP BI in Amsterdam, Jürgen Faisst (IBCS Association) and Heimo Losbichler (University of Applied Science Oberösterreich) are invited to the IMA Conference 2017 in Denver (Colorado), and Rolf Hichert (IBCS Association) will speak at the EBCG Financial Controlling Toolbox in Prague. At the TDWI Conference in Munich, Raphael Branger and Alex Pröm (IT-Logix) will give a workshop and Arne-Kristian Schulz (blueforte), Dirk U. Proff and Jörn Kohlhammer will present the result of an eye-tracking study.

+4  ARTICLE SERIES ON REPORT DESIGN IN CONTROLLER MAGAZIN

ICC Markus Wolff (chartisan) writes an article series about best practices in report design for the Controller Magazin. He gives practical tips on how to incorporate specific aspects of IBCS® into Excel reports. The current issue (in German language) is about legends and labels.

+7  IBCS® CERTIFIED TABLES FOR LONGVIEW

Longview has extended the IBCS® certification of its Longview Analytics 2017 (ehemals arcplan) nun auch für die IBCS®-konforme Gestaltung von Tabellen zertifizieren lassen. Gleichzeitig wurden die Longview-Lösungen „Close“, „Plan“ und „Tax“ mit IBCS®-konformen Tabellen ausgestattet.
